한국형 위성항법보정시스템 KASS는 2023년말 항공용 서비스 제공을 목표로 개발 중에 있다. 3단계로 구분된 KASS 서비스 제공 계획에 따라 2022년 12월부터 시험 메시지 필드를 포함한 1차 신호제공이 시작되었고 2023년 7월부터 공개서비스를 위한 2차 신호제공이 시작되었다. 1차 및 2차 신호제공 데이터를 분석한 결과 KASS 신호 인터페이스 제어 문서에서 정의에 맞춰 제공 됨을 확인할 수 있었다. KASS의 항공용 서비스를 위한 3차 신호제공은 2023년 12월부터 시작될 예정이다.

KASS Service Change Procedure and Message Analysis According to Signal Provision Plan

The Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) is a system under development with the goal of providing Safety of Life (SoL) by the end of 2023. According to the 3-phase KASS signal provision plan, the provision of the first signal including a test message field (MT0/0) began in December 2022, and the provision of the second signal for Open Service (OS) began in July 2023. As a result of analyzing the 1st/2nd signal provision data, it was verified that a message type and interval were provided as defined in the KASS signal interface control document. The provision of the third signal for SoL is planned to begin in December 2023.
