한국형 위성항법보정시스템 KASS는 2023년 12월 시스템의 개발을 완료하고 운영 및 서비스 제공을 위한 체계를 마련하여 2023년 12월 28일부터 인천 항공정보구역내에 항공용 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 서비스 제공의 연속성 및 안정성을 보장하기 위해 시스템 및 데이터의 상태감시, KASS 메시지 및 서비스의 성능감시, 운영 및 유지보수 관리지원, 시험 및 개선을 위한 시험교육지원으로 구분된 성능유지감시 도구들이 개발되었다. 개발된 도구들을 현재의 운영체계에 효율적으로 적용하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 이러한 방법의 적용을 통해 국제기준의 목표 성능을 준수하는 KASS 서비스를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on the Application of the Operating System of the KASS Performance Monitoring Tool

The Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) completed the development of the system in December 2023 and has established the system for operation and service provision, and is providing Safety of Life (SOL) services within the Incheon Flight Information Region (FIR) since December 28, 2023. To ensure continuity and safety of service provision, performance monitoring tools (PMT) have been developed that are divided into system and data status monitoring, KASS message and service performance monitoring, operation and maintenance management support, and test and training. A method for efficiently applying the developed tools to the current operating system has been proposed. Through the application of these methods, it will be possible to expect KASS services that comply with the target performance of international standards.
