최근 국가 영토/안보 영역이 우주공간까지 확장됨에 따라 위성이 외교/안보/국방/경제 분야의 핵심자산으로 부상하면서, 다양한 목적의 위성이 개발 중이거나 개발 예정이다. 뉴 스페이스 시 대 개막에 맞춰 위성정보 확보 및 활용 간 보안위협을 예방하고 대응하기 위해 체계적이고 장기적인 관점에서 종합적인 보안기술 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 우주사이버안보 실현을 위한 위성보안기술 관련 국내/외 정책 및 기술 동향 등을 살펴보고자 한다.

Status and Development of Satellite Security Technology

Recently, satellites for various purposes are under development or are planned to be developed with satellites emerging as key assets in the fields of diplomacy/security/defense/economy as national territorial/security domains expand into outer space. In line with the opening of the new space era, it is necessary to develop comprehensive security technology from a systematic and long-term perspective to prevent and respond to security threats between acquiring and utilizing satellite information. In this paper, domestic/foreign policy and technology trends related to satellite security technology for space cybersecurity are reviewed.
