In this paper, we have researched the technology for precision guidance the electric bus to the optimal charging position and realized S/W of vehicle monitoring for automatic charging system (socket contact type) for electric bus. The implementation of the high precision guidance technology was implemented through the fusion of a GPS / DR (Dead Reckoning) navigation module that can know location information, a camera sensor and vehicle internal information (such as speed and steering value). vehicle monitoring S/W implements the information such as the state of the battery, charging area entry step alarm, charging start and end signal, charging queue, charge remaining time received from the vehicle and control center, station and the process of discovery and fine positioning so that the driver can easily recognize it. Acquisition of necessary data for the implementation of each technology was implemented using PC-based programs (RTMaps, MATLAB, Visual C ++), and verification was performed using KATECH internal Proving Ground (PG).
