Introduction of Japanese SBAS Implementation Called MSAS

Japanese SBAS service called MSAS (MTSAT satellite-based augmentation system) has been operational continuously since September 2007 with two geostationary satellites. In this paper, the author introduces the current status and the 20-year history of Japanese MSAS program. It also includes system configuration, typical performance, and some R&D activities for MSAS.
