Study on Rapid Prediction of GNSS-R Specular Reflection Point

In recent years, global navigation satellite system reflectometry (GNSS-R) of opportunity signals has stood as a technique with a great potential for remote sensing applications. This paper presents a rapid prediction approach of GNSS-R specular reflection point for GNSS-R receiver. The first step, geometrical characteristics of specular reflection point are summarized. A rough estimate of the specular reflection point is achieved, according to the geometrical characteristics. The second step, the location of specular reflection point is corrected based on collinear vector, precise location of the specular reflection point is achieved by iteration. Finally, the algorithm is validated through simulations, the results show that the algorithm has good accuracy and rapidity.
