A Spoofer Localization using DRSS/TDOA Weighted Integration Method

In this paper, differential received signal strength(DRSS) and time difference of arrival(TDOA) integrated method based on multiple ground stations is proposed to localize a spoofing signal which attempts to deceive a GPS receiver and causes the performance degradation of the GPS receiver. In order to estimate the location of the spoofer accurately, a weighted least squares method is used and a selection method of weighting factors is designed. To evaluate the proposed method, simulations are performed and their results show that the proposed method provides more exact location of interference effectively compared to DRSS and TDOA based method.
