Pseudolite-based Augmentation System Development and Performance Analysis

Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) is one kind of GNSS augmentation system which improve accuracy and integrity performance. U.S. and European Union and Japan have already developed their own SBAS and other countries such as India, Russia are developing SBAS. In Korea, the project related to develop SBAS was conducted from 2002 to 2004. Recently, “Wide Area DGNSS Development” project is in progress. Main goal of this project is to develop main algorithms and pseudolite-based demo system. Prior to develop satellite-based system, this project tests the feasibility of SBAS in Korea with low cost demo system. In this paper, developed ground system and test results will be described.
