Simulation Results on Relationship between Output Information and GPS Spoofing Channel Number In Commercial Receiver Unit

The position accuracy deviation due to smart jamming (spoofing) which can be changed by spoofing channel number in commercial receiver unit is shown in this paper. To verify the impact the signal acquisition and tracking for receiver unit, we use the RF signal generator such as Spirent RF simulator and commercial receiver unit. Also we use the RF signal combiner to sum the GPS live signal and fake GPS signal and signal attenuator to reduce the live GPS signal strength. This paper presents the concept diagram and principle of GPS signal spoofing and the test result such as position deviation in the receiver unit. According to the results we confirm that spoofing signal can impact the position information of commercial receiver unit.
