Performance Analysis of a Code Tracking for GNSS Signal Design using The MSK Modulation

The spectrum issue in the L1 frequency band is magnified by multiple GNSS signals. In regard to this issue, the MSK modulation can be considered as a candidate for GNSS signal modulation since it is a band efficient modulation scheme. This paper designs a code tracking loop for GNSS signals using MSK modulation. The code tracking error in the proposed design is analyzed and shown by using a software-based simulator.
