Chul-Soo Lee, Bum-Soo Park, Jin-Woo Lee, Woo-Geon Ahn

Current Radio Navigation Satellite Service (RNSS) is using not only GPS and GALILEO signals but also various radio ranging signals. The ranging signals are designed for improving the navigation accuracy and minimizing the interference effeteness in limited bandwidth. In this paper, we analyzed the availability of the raised cosine filter among the various pulse shaping filter in radio navigation service, which can reduce the Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) of the receiving signal in band-limited environment and reduce the signal bandwidth of the transmitted signal. We also compared the autocorrelation function at the receiver between the pulse shaping filter and the conventional PSK-R modulation.
